There was a EURO 2004 game so there is a good chance, except all it will be basically is FIFA 2008 in a different box.

Any point in hoping that EA will somehow incorporate a Euro 08 feature into FIFA 08? Or at least the option to create your own tournament with international teams?

No, simply b/c if they do that then the Euro 2008 game won't sale. It's all about the money.
