I think it's about time. I love it. Useful for fk, pk and breakaways, corners and when ever you need to bring him out.

I can not talk much about it, but you should think of one thing: It will be much harder to predict where your friend is going to throw his keeper when you are in a one-on-one situation. This alone is much more than enough for me! hehe.

I love the idea and nothing to lose, you can always switch it off if you really hate it! :D

how do you even switch to the gk? i'm playing on a keyboard... if someone knows please tell me.. thanx!

Seeing how right analog stick moves were assigned to Shift+arrow, they could assign it to Ctrl or double-tapping Shift. We can only wait and see.

Did somebody manage this in the demo already?

You gotta beware when you come outside of the box with the keeper however you could end up doing a harsh foul and get booked. In fact yesterday i just rushed with the keeper(holding W) and right when he gave one step outside of the box the CPU made a shot and it ended being a handball outside of the box, and of course, to my surprise, my keeper got a red card, when the keeper gets a red card a menu popups right away.

It explains you what you have to do basically. 1- Put a field player on the keeper 2- Substitute the player for a keeper.

cool.. finally they enabled this feature.. can't wait for my friends to get red cards in multiplayer:)

yes. the goalie is very retarded 1 on 1 most o the time. at least up until now.

ad specially if youpay on world class/Legend (apparently theres a legend difficulty but havent heard of it). and compuer is on 1 on 1 there is a very high chance of the scoring especially when you make them charge out.

so being able to control the goalie is a very good addition. though u need to practice a lot to be good at is as just as real life GK'ing 1 on 1 is Really hard against world class players.

How do you actually do when you want to control the keeper? How do you select him? I've tried different ways with no result. Especially at free-kicks.

Btw, Angel scored 3 goals in a match against my team(poor Kahn...:kader:), from free-kick. One after a pass(like a real indirect free-kick), a Gerrard trademark missile goal from outside the box!Once my goalie was dribbled. It is clear that the control of the keeper is very important. So, if someone from you know how to do it(I've tried the way they show in the trailer, but it doesn't work,maybe I do something not the way it's suppose to be done...), please let me know.
Fifa 08 has some very good improvements compared to Fifa 07, despite the facts that everybody are complaining, others with good reasons, others just from ignorance. Try to discover it's new features, will blow away a few from your dissapointed mood.

it's left shift.. :confused:

press down your right stick and then your keeper is selected and you can move him. works fine in the demo as long as your pad is fully supported. for example xbox 360 pad is.
