Where was England? Beckham never shouted to the goal, there wasn't organization in their play... Italy played without Totti and Del Piero (Have you seen what he did when he came to the pitch in the end of second time...?) but we've dominated England... Look at any sport in the world, and it is automatically assumed that the team with the best defense is cheating. Italy has been known for its defense forever. They are notorious for diving, play acting etc etc, you only had to look at the line up in the Euro 2000 final to see what a shifty looking bunch they are, i'm glad France won that final, i'd hate for Italy to have won it with the negative cynical football they played it that competition, not like the flair of the French which was much more attractive.

P.s to the Mclaren post at the top, So ok Ferrari won, but wasn't it about 21 years to win the drivers title? lol not very impressive really.

England had to win on Italy 3-1?? Have you seen the right match guy? England never shouted to the gol, they could only tackle hard on the genius of the italians... Only Beckham is a player who can play in Serie A, the others only can watch it in Tv... Serie A is the best championship in the world, not like Premierleague. Yesterday it rained a lot for all the match, and Italy can't play at his best under rain but England can because they don't have talented player... In Italy there weren't Totti and Del Piero only played twenty minutes... Vieri is yet out... with them on the pitch we win 5-1,... you can't compare Italy (FIFA Ratings: 5th team in the world) with England (FIFA Ratings: 16th team in the world). At Euro 2000 we lost with France (World Champion) in the last three minutes, England? You were eliminated in the preliminary...?? We are the real football history... You invented it, but we play it.

Juventus is also the only italian team which beated Manchester United at the Old Trafford... do you know it? do you remember?

First of all i didn't get to see the game but Italy might not have played there best, for like i have said in the past they are an off and on team.
But then let us analyze England, they have only had one great string of years 65-67'. But that was it Italy has one 3 World Cups. The SERIE has always been said to be the most intertaning by Officals and Fans. I admit at times it can get boring but I have seen the same with the english games.
Bottom line is both teams are not as good as they can be but there is no way England is in a position to say they have been great in the past 10 years and counting. Especially compared to how far Italy has gone.
