The first ever post on the Music forum. I made history. Wow. So, making this short, this is the question, which decade do you think brought you the best music, and why?
I'd go with the 90's. No real reason, just that my favorite songs are from that decade, and bring me the most nostalgia, even though I only started listening to music in the 00's.

It's hard to say because every decade was great for somehow. I'm between the 60's and the 70's.

60's for me. There is music from all of the decades that I like though, but I'm not that big on the 70's all that much, especially the whole disco era
Yeah i'm going with Ruud and O-Car, i think the 60's influenced the music of today more than any other decade. Only my opinion of course.

1800's for sure! What could be better, than the music of Friedrich Nietzsche?!

late 70s and early 80s since this is the era where the type of music I like took its shape. (H)

In terms of rock music, I'd say it's had two golden ages: mid-60's to mid-70's, and mid-80's to mid-90's.

60's. Music I like is either from that period or heavily inspired by that period.
70's is a close 2nd though.

60s, 70s (Y)
the 80s had a lot of gay music which eventually inspired the massive boy-band flood of the (kind of late) 90s.
