How f*cking awesome are they? RHCP is the sort of band where I can listen to an entire album of theirs one day and then listen to it again and again for the entire week and not get tired of it one bit.

Ohhh yes! I LOVE them, especially John Frusciante. Over the years I collected all their albums (and John's, although its VEERRYY different), and I went to a couple of Stadium Arcadium tour concerts. Paris in 2006 and Hamburg this past july. Amazing concerts! But John seems to peak a little above the rest nowadays. He always put up an amazing soulful performance. :rockman:
I do probably like their older stuff better, but I like the new music too. Blood Sugar Sex Magik was one of my first albums and I fell in love with their music ever since. I also love watching videos of old concerts. Crazy sh*t. :p I could basically watch and listen to them all day long.

They're pretty good. But there are certain songs that I just can't stand. Their older stuff beats the crap outta this S.A stuff. Not that it's crap, but it's just no where near the old stuff. Outta the new stuff, 'Desecration Smile' would be my favorite.
The old stuff, well, there's so much, you have 'Otherside', 'Can't Stop', 'By the Way', 'Scar Tissue,', 'Under the Bridge', etc. Great, great stuff.

Too f*cking awesome!!! :rockman:
I just love their music, John is ofcourse the best as a musician, but the rest ain't that bad either, Flea's basslines and the way he clicks with John is just crazy. Their older stuff is awesome, maybe a little bit woren out as they are playing on the radio all the time, but still great. Stadium Arcadium was a great album, a bit different from the older stuff, and it was great to see a 28 piece album.
I really envy you guys who have been fortunate enough to have got to seen them live, I hope I'll get to one of their concerts some day too. I would have gone and see them if they had come to Finland on their European tour.
Maybe some day...

I can listen to Californication non-stop. I heard Dani California at work last year on every radio station every 10 minutes and wanted to shoot myself in the ******* face.

Californication is not even one of their best albums. I rate Blood Sugar Sex Magik and By The Way higher.
I wish I knew what you were talking about with Dani California but I haven't listened to radio since I've had my first iPod.
Oh and I almost forgot, Live in Hyde Park is one of the best live albums ever recorded.

I meant the track Californication, not the album ;)
