I've done research and written down everything I saw. The best things?
White Hart Lane! And the Rest of the World teams includes a lot of teams from the middle east!

There must be tons of information in the files that came with the demo.

I'm trying to get as much info as possible. For instance. The fifa.db file says that there are many "rewards" such as a Classic Teams, an All Star team, some stadiums, Highbury (!)(!) and a lot of kits.

Broodrooster
31-08-2007, 11:12:PM
It's seems like there are 6 referees.

Jin Wang
Jonathan Veasey
Lagi Toma
Miguel Sanchez
Sammi Oliseh
Sergio Martinez

The demo is in the Allianz Stadium. The information also names the nearest airport (WHY?). It says Franz Josef S (Airportcode: MUC)

Default formations are
442
4222
41212
433
451
532
541
343
352

In the career mode you can upgrade things like staff and stadium. It seems like the same assets are in fifa08 (no additions).

There is a list with countries. I don't know if these will be in Fifa08. There are some suprising names like:
Holland
Ivory Coast
Cape Verdia

There is even a lot more info in the language files.

The championsleague is called: The Trophée des Champions, allthough EEC and EFA are also named.
It seems like there is a Copa Liberatores (Americas Club Championship)

Weather conditions are clear, rain and snow,.. and all can be combined with sun or night.

Collina is somewhere in the game for int. friendlies.

Balls are: Mitre (english and scottish version), Umbro, Puma, Blue ball (mexico) and the Americas Club Championship Ball.

I see a list with all the stadium. No new stadiums. Seems the same as last year.

You can unlock biographs of legends.

There is a list with different cities.. I have no idea what they mean. From Mexico City, to Boulogne-sur-mer (France) and from Rome to Bydgosszcz (Poland)

The Classic CI challenge is in the game (again)

I can also see Markus Merk, Kim Milton Nielsen and Anders Frisk.

Wait... I can see a file with lot more stadium names!
White Hart Lane, TCM Stadium (?), Jose Alvalade (was that one in Fifa 07?), Seoul Sang Am, Gottlieb Daimler, AWD Arena, Commerzbank Arena, Estadio Jalisco (?)

I have no idea! The fact that EA puts them in a file is no guarantee that they have made it in to the final game. Developers love to cut elements (or teams) out of a game, but they always leave behind some traces.

What about national teams, many more of them?

Wellington isn't really a rest of world side as it is in the Australian league - the New Zealand Knights FC no longer exists, it folded early this year (replaced by Wellington in the A-league). I guess it still has a team id, but I doubt it will be in the game.

I've gone through the teams that have been mentioned, there are only 3 teams competing in this years Asian Champions league yet to be mentioned (apart from Australian and Korean teams, who are in the game as their leagues are in the game):

Al-karamah (Syria)
Al-rayyan (Qatar)
Shandong Luneng (China)

I wonder if someone could check to see if these 3 are there as well?

There are 3 currencies in the game. $, € and £. You can also have job offers from other clubs.

There is not an Asian club championship. However, it does mention an "ROW Cup" (Rest of the world cup) and an "International Club Championship" (Confederations cup?)

The file names some tournament as Americas Club Championship (Besides the MLS Cup) and a "C. Libertadores". I'm not sure what is South American Uefa Cup is called, but that would probably be the Americas Club Championship.

The file mentions a league as the "world league".. Perhaps something online?

The equivalent of the UEFA Cup, or so it pretendsm in South America is the "Copa Sudamericana" however the ROW Cup and the Americas Club Championship were in the database of FIFA '07, but were unseen in the game like International Club Championship. Doesn't mean that it's going to be the same this year.

And the World League i think it is for the Classic XI, the MLS All-Stars and such.

Well I checked through and they do indeed have every team from the 2007 Asian Champions league (they pretty much just have every korean and australian team plus every team in the ACL).

Whether there is a tournament or not, it will be easy to just add every team into a custom tournament.

The only worry is whether these teams will actually be there in game.
