Well, I wanted to try FIFA 08 (dissapointed already as many of u noticed in my posts) in widescreen resolution 1680x1080 with high settings. Someone please make a real demo expander. Thanks

Thanks but FYI: u can not select resolutions in demo.
If I use 1280x720 where??? On my monitor? ROFL. U should know that new widescreen monitors' native resolution is 1680x1050. Everything below that is blurry. On widescreen u must use 1680x1050 or more on 24 inch or more monitors.

And this demo runs at only 800x600 i think. It can not change resolution itself.

AS I STATED before: 1680x1050 is the real resolution for 22 inch wide monitors. I play FIFA 07 at that resolution. IT WILL be selectable in full FIFA08. I just needed it for FIFA 08 demo.

AGAIN: 1280x720 is NOT good for widescreen monitors, but it may be good for HD TVs that supoport that resolution.

LUPUS's demo expander is not good and is full of bugs.

VladoMontenegro you can create an locale.ini file and put in whatever resolution you want, I am using this file to play at the moment and it WORKS!! just follow these instructions:-


Create a file with notepad and rename it locale.ini then copy and paste these lines into it:-

NEVERENDING_GAME=1
WINDOWED=0
RESOLUTION=1680x1050x32
RENDER_QUALITY=2
NO_SECOND_YELLOW=0
NO_IMMEDIATE_RED_CARD=0

[OPTIONS]

LINESMEN =0
REFEREE =1
OFFSIDES=1
BOOKINGS=1
INJURIES=1
DIFFICULTY_LEVEL=2
GAME_SPEED=1

TIMEDISPLAY=1
VISUALINDICATORS=1
RADAR=1
WIDESCREEN=1


then save it to your fifa08 demo file.
You can change any of these options including the resolution to 1680x1050 :bob:. Just try it ,it really works mate.
