It will not include DRC yet (next weekend) but quickly import kits because it uses an exclusive routine that only builds bh file that has been modified :)

Great Utility as always. No problem for me on Vista but for installing it, you must shut down the account protection stuff.

There's only one thing that I notice is that when you play the game in french, the kits with betting sponsors like AC Milan don't change. They remain the same Very Ugly EA kit.

I doubt that you can fix it because I'm not sure that you have the french version but, who knows ???

At first thanks for that tool, great work!

However i actually do have a problem with it, here is what i did:

- Fresh istallation of Fifa 08
- Installed Kitraptor 08 (the one just released)
- Got a Random Kit I found here (in this case an Arsenal away)
- Imported it and closed Kit raptor.

Thats what I did. Therefore I didn't fatbh'ed it or anything else, just as I said above.
Where is the crutual Error I'm doing?

Would be great if someone give me an advice.

same here, i imported the kit without running fatbh builder, nothing happens..if i'd run fatbhbuilder i guess the whole game will crash...

For those who have Vista, before installing KR, shut down your ACCOUNT MEMBER PROTECTION. You know what I mean, It's the program that asked you if you allow to open a program, etc... and then install it.

During the installation, you'll have a message that asked you if you accept to overwrite some protected filed. Click yes and Voilà, you have KR installed correctly. There's no need of fatbh builder.

After that, If you want to see your files, you must play your game in a language that accept teams with betting and alcoholic :) sponsors (like BWIN.COM or CALSBERG). I play in Italian and everything is fine, I can also play online without problem (Silencer, it was only the f...ing EA server)

Then click on the picture that represents your account (avatar)
Go to 'useraccount protection off or on'
Switch it off, restart your PC and your done!

i have the same problem with Real Madrid kits: if you go to "Player Edit", you can see the players wearing the imported kits, but in-game, they wear the original EA version, but without the Bwin sponsor :eek:

Ariel, there is a big problem for playing online with imported kits. The game crashed if you install more than 1 kit. :|

Same here some kits are ingame and some others not, and using fatbhbuilder there is no solution.

Also, this weird thing happened ... for example I installed America kits, ingame the kits are not shown :

About KIT RAPTOR, I want to share something, here it is
+ Ariel didn't rebuild all .bh files & fifa.fat
+ For example: if you import kit for America fsh file at zdata_12.big, Kit Raptor will "build" zdata_12.bh & "build" at fifa.fat.
+ OK ! If you import another file to another zdata and not rebuild fifa.fat, then import Kit Raptor, the game crashes (Because Kit Raptor builds kit without your files).

This method keeps importing process fastly but someone will get errors (Not all)

Hi I want to say kr 08 works verrygood. But how can i imput kits for Ac Milan and Real Madrid? All other teams goes. But only for this two teams kr says input ready but in the game the kits dont installed what can i do?

I use kit raptor and so far for me it works fine, including Milan and Real Madrid kits.

I tried the way to select another language at the start up of FIFA and now I can see all my kits I imported, but it is not a solution for the future...:S

Thanks to all ( pkbomb ) for the info about those teams whose kits do not change even when you have imported.

There are 43 teams that have more than 1 set of kits. According to the game language you have selected different set of kits are shown. So I´m working on a new version of Kit Raptor that will allow to select one of the 3 sets available . This setting will be remember by KR and once you have found the set that works with your language you won´t need to change it again.

KR will also support now png files to be imported (not transparency) and it will allow 3GK to be imported 1024x1024 ( but remember you can´t import too many 3GK because the game probably will crash).

yes, i tried for kit and it work (in 512x512) and in 768x768 work sometimes (i think are issue of video memory...) but if you try you'll notice a better quality (even with lower mip maps)...

Fatbh builder makes the game crash after importing kits, just import the kits without rebuilding the files, then it should work!

Ok, I admit, I am a complete noob when adding things to Fifa. Allow me to explain what I did:

-Ran Kit Raptor
-Imported and Home and Away kit for Fiorentina (both 768 x 768)
Did NOT run anything else, i.e fatbuilder

The game starts up fine, but crashes to the desktop whenever it loads the new kits, either in-game or in the player editor.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had this problem (I couldn't install LA Galaxy kits)...I tried playing with Galaxy when I couldn't import with kit raptor...and the game crashed when the team line-up cinematics show at the beginning of a match

I just replaced the z_data files with the original ones...and it worked (I could install Galaxy kits...and the game didn't crash when playing with them)

- Fixed Import Method for Special Teams : When you are playing FIFA in Spanish, Italian or other languages different from English you find out that when you import kits for Real Madrid, Milan and other teams kits do not change in game. Now this problem has been fixed.

- Now supports 3GK. 1024x1024 textures

- Now supports importing not only bmp but png files.

- New Layout.

Yes.. that is the problem. We will hopefully solve that when Creation Centre is released.
That normally happens with 3rd and/or GK kits


These kits can be installed quite easily, but you have to use the "old" manual methods that we used prior to the great tools that Rinaldo made.

To add a Third or GK that is not in the game, you need to do a couple of things:

Edit the Table_teamkits in the fifa db to add the entries for GK (kit type 2 and thirdm kit type 3)

Edit the table_rewards to add your 3rd kit so you can purchase it.

Add the kits to the zdatas - easy way is to extract an existing GK or 3rd kit and rename and import

Create the 3rd kit minis in the gui/assets/kits folder j3_**.big

Once all that is done, kitraptor will allow you to install the kit

in other words, wait until CM 08 is released, otherwise it´s a pain in the butt.

For me, Kit Raptor doesn't work, i always get wrong size but i load true size. And the camiseta.bmp load but the camiseta.jpg is not converted, so i can see loading picture...

Why go through all that work? All you need to do is open db master and add the goalkeeper in the teamkits table and save. Than use MonkeyDragon't kit utility and import the gk kit just like you would in kit raptor.

Much much simpler way. Used this method for all the GK I updated.

No need to mess with Biggui and zdata or fhs files. Why create so much more extra work for youself?

There are a bunch in the zdata_07.big. Just extract one, rename it and import back. Rebuild with fatbhbuilder. You will have the replaced team's keeper kit installed, just use kitraptor to replace it. Should take you about 5 minutes to do all of this.

olympiakos gk must be added by editing fifa.db (adding a line, I used Unidb) and inserting a .fsh file in the proper zdata (u have to rename it 75_2............)

I was talking about all of the MLS teams that were made available. Those are the only two, plus San Jose. I still don't understand why it's not importing any kits into the game.

1. uninstall your kitraptor
2. unactivate the User Account Control (UAC)
3. reboot your computer (dunno if it's necesary)
4. install kitraptor
5. activate the UAC again if you wanna
