Screw this competitions, I'm going to start to nomitate Christina Aguilera.
:(
Fernandez 18-09-2007, 02:31:PM We can post youtubes of their performances right?
Jaboldinho 19-09-2007, 07:07:AM Sure. Just post them directly to their group thread or this thread.
Azrael 23-09-2007, 01:41:AM I've only heard of 14 of the contestants :( Lots of bad taste here.
Jaboldinho 23-09-2007, 09:41:AM Yea, no Metallica, SoaD or many other greats, but whatever, people were too lazy to nominate, I would have loved to have atleast 64 nominees, but people were lazy, and it didn't seem right for me to add 32 wild cards. (H)
I myself have heard of most of those bands (thanks to Last.fm radios), but haven't listened to their music.
Ubik Valis 23-09-2007, 04:22:PM Err...didn't I nominate Metallica a long time ago? :|
Azrael 23-09-2007, 05:15:PM The coup commences?
Jaboldinho 23-09-2007, 08:35:PM Well, I wasn't sure about if it was a nomination as you said something like "what, no Metallica or Tool?", iirc, so I didn't count them in, but I told for you to nominate him then, but there was no answer. And I can't add them anymore as it's already started and it would produce an odd number.

Bonzi 04-11-2007, 07:45:PM How come there is no Queen? :|
Ubik Valis 04-11-2007, 07:54:PM Because no one nominated them?
Jaboldinho 04-11-2007, 07:57:PM Pretty much. :p
There should've been atleast 64 nominees IMO, but there was no people nominating bands, and I just managed to get 32 nominees, by giving every1 a chance to nominate two...! I guess people just weren't aware enough that we really have a music forum.
1966+2006 04-11-2007, 08:16:PM Maybe next time we should pick a different system. Let's say everyone gets 1 nominee and then some bands that are in there automatically.
I can't think of any conditions which the automatic nominations would have to cover but you get the idea, don't you?
Jaboldinho 10-11-2007, 11:37:AM Yea, that could work. I've always thought of a different type of contest, if people are interested. There could be many categories: Rock, Pop, Heavy, Alternative, Hiphop, Female, Male, Album, Song, and so on. Let's just get this done first and then we can see if it would be a smart move.
Jaboldinho 19-12-2007, 07:05:AM And the winner for SGF Best Musical Performance is.........
PINK FLOYD! :lui:

Congratulations!
Sadly, the band couldn't be here to claim the prize, so Vanilla Ice will take it on their behalf.
