View Full Version : Feel good songs
Ok, gay thread, but in here i want people to be honest. I'm trying to download a load of proper feel-good-songs. So anything, anything that puts a smile on your face. I do NOT want 'the best song by (band)', which tends to be what most of these threads descend into, i want the kind of song that you hear in a club and just laugh and cant help but move to. Whether it be genuinly ace or brilliantly cheesy.
Examples from Tom:
ELO - Don't Bring Me Down
Motorhead- Ace of Spades
Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend

Ai6Xd6a-2HY
champdave 30-09-2007, 08:11:AM Dire Straits - Walk of Life is an incredibly uplifting song.
There's a fair few longer songs that are uplifting too because they take you to a low before reaching a high. Off the top of my head I'm thinking of Pink Floyd - Echoes, Guillemots - Sao Paolo, Dire Straits - Telegraph Road, Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Storm and the like.
Jaboldinho 30-09-2007, 09:49:AM someone tell me how I forgot this?
Ai6Xd6a-2HY
I have no idea, neither how I forgot it. We should all be very ashamed of this.(:/) Good thing you remembered it eventually though, after listening to that, I'm happy. :amika:
treble41 04-10-2007, 04:54:AM If you wanna listen to a song that gets you all happy and whatever then listen to this 3-5 times, it's by the most popular band in Sweden although they don't have a music video for it and this performance is from 2002:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=W_jrOF042Cs
Jaboldinho 04-10-2007, 07:00:AM They're pretty well-known here in Finland too, but I never learnt to like them, might be because all the songs are in Swedish, or then I just don't like their music, either way - not my style of music.
