And this comes from a person that strives to find something in each year's FIFA to say it's better than PES. But just from some screens I can confirm the player models are much better looking than FIFA 08's.

oh n btw are u sure this aint xbox 360 cuz if you look at the replay screen all the buttons are those of an xbox 360 controller, thus you cant compare ti to pc graphics, they will never be as good as nextgen

IMO PES PC has always looked better than FIFA PC but FIFA 360 needs better player models and facial maps, alot of players look downright disgusting

Scroll to the right twiggins. Upper-right corner. It's FRAPS overlay, showing the frames-per-second. I know they're PC screenshots because a guy bothered to take some from the just-released demo. And those X360 buttons could be PES being auto-configured to use the X360 controller. It could be Games For Windows for all we know.

So yes, unless EA tries to even come close to that for the PC, it's another battle lost for them.

i just played the demo. the players in pes look perfect. everything else doesn't. anmd the gameplay doesn't really convince me, though i should play some more to get used to the pes button configuration.

that's because konami always converts their console games to pc versions with the very least effort. you can't even use the mouse, and in the editor you can't use the keyboard to type correct team/player names.

No they didn't. What they said was that replicating the NG AI on the average gamer's PC was impossible, the graphics were never part of the equation

IMO, the players in PES are MUCH better than the FIFA ones. However, I'm not particularly fond of the PES players' shin guards...they seem to stick out too much.

I also think that PES has a much smarter AI than EA. So there was no reason for them to not create the NG game for PC. Just look at how low the system requirements are for PES2008!!

While I don't want to bash your work, which is very nice, I still have to tell you that no, it's not superior at all. I don't like one bit PES on pc, damn konami always ports it and it could be so much better. But graphically? Not a million patches could do the trick to get it equal to PES sorry. Still, nice work of yours. :shades:

The PES demo was silly, the action seem cartoonish, and it was way too fast. I actually think the Fifa for PC looks more realistic.

well, strictly graphically, i will say that the model-specific boot models (does that make sense?) look much better. look at the cleats on messi's f50's.

both games blow still gotta catch up with the other sports titles.
