I'm having a real big problem with fifa 08 on the PC and my PS2 controller hocked up using the USB converter. It was working fine when i installed the game, then all of a sudern it crashed and returned me back to the desktop, i tried to run it again, but crashed straight back to the desktop again. Another more times this happened. I even re-installed the game, same thing still happends.
I went to the device manager and disabled my game controller, then run the game, the game fires up but i can only use the keyboard due to my controller being disabled. back to device manager, re-enabled, fifa crashes again.
I have re-installed the controller loads of times, but it still crashes. can anyone help!!

i'm doing the same thing,having my ps2 controller in my pc by usb but i have no problem at all.
Maybe some settings are wrong...?I have no idea.Check the controller if it's ok with other games.

might be your operating system. or your adaptor just isnt compatible with FIFA 08 or your controller is screwed up.

try using a different PS2 controller. see what happens if the same thing happens than i dont know.

Just buy an Xbox 360 controller for Windows and all the controller issues go away.

My problem is that the right analog stick wont work. It works fine on other games, just dont fifa:S Anyone knows how to fix this??

the problem is that the controller was working fine, then out of the blue it just went mental and i couldn't play with it anymore. tryed it with other games and it works fine, just fifa i'm having problems with

i have problem when i cannot save my controller settings.. all the settings done to fit the ps2 controllers, then after save profile and so on, the game doesnt save it at all.. so i can only use the default configuration all the time.. the game says it was saved, but it actually didnt.. ive experienced it since FIFA 07.. im very dissapointed, i thought fifa has fix dis.. please anyone know how to get this right? btw im using Rockfire PS2 usb converter.. tq..
