I purchased Fifa 2001 when it came out. however, due to the fact i overused it's become scratched. i would like to copy it and use it as a backup. however, the cd doesn't allow it.

is there anyway i can copy fifa 2001 as backup.

i actually do own the original, if you would like, i can write my product key, to prove i actually own it.

Hmmm, you want to backup a 'scratched' FIFA 2001 disc... Well, there's your problem! You can't back up a scratched disc! :D

If you can't run the game, it's because it uses a safedisc protection and won't run unless you have the original.
