How do you stop a player from dribbling right through the middle of the defense? My center backs won't converge to cut him off. When I try to manually switch to a center back I don't get him soon enough to cut off the angle.
Is there a defensive formation or setting I can try? Its really frustrating. Thanks for any help.

The only success I have is manually doing it, while having my defender in a jockey position. When you are sprinting, the player tends to move too freely and doesn't successfully put themselves in position to make a tackle.
Another way I defend this is trying to tire the strikers for the opposing team. You can do this by doing the leading pass when bringing the ball up through the middle, or by having your defender bring the ball up, which will have the strikers follow him most of the time.
Sorry for the BS, but there really is not a way to defend the middle attack successfully and consecutively.
