I then play the game and it runs like a dream for about 2-3 minutes then starts lagging again. What's your PC? Intel Celeron CPU 2.66 GHz Windows XP Pro SP2 Radeon 9250 256 MB with updated driver 1GB RAM stony_boi 04-10-2007, 04:26:AM I have Intel 2.4 ATI Radeon 9250 128 MB 512 MB Ram works absolutely fine for me on 1024x768 and Medium. In vista it is nearly unplayable. I believe EA had better code the game better for p.c instead of giving us yet another console port. drpencilcase 06-10-2007, 06:42:PM Same problem here. I have an intel 1.67GHz dual core with 2Gb ram and a ATI X1600, besides the lack of my native monitor resolution 1280x800, it also runs too laggy to be playable. I tried to lower the settings and to put the process in realtime without success. If anyone finds out a solution to this porblem please let me know. aliergal 06-10-2007, 06:55:PM i have the same problem:D i have 8500 gforce and 1 gb ram, everything is ok but the menus are so slow expecially the formation menu. charliehamster 06-10-2007, 07:05:PM try changing the "RENDER_RATE_MODE =" value to 1 or 2 in the "cfg_pc_h" file. Then the lagging started again.:f***: msiccama 11-10-2007, 10:51:PM i had the same problem but i found it got better when i got a bios update and then i could change the ums frame rate buffer to 128mb in catalyst because there was some bug or something in the catalyst software but now i can run the game pretty sweet. my specs are: AMD TURION64 X2 1.6ghz 1gb Ram ATI RADEON XPRESS SERIES 1150 256 hypermemory astrotoy7 12-10-2007, 06:15:PM lolz...there seems to be four threads with the same issue.... I had the same issue and fixed it by switching off cool n quiet mode for my amd processor in the BIOS. Worked perfect after that, no probs with CPU temps either. good luck astro |
