The last good version of Fifa out was 99.
The game has basicly gone crap with the
natural look movement since then. And I
still havent forsaken those moves they took
out. I wasn't into 2000 but this is simply
unplayable. First there is very limited
movement with the players, it's not possible
to run around anybody. The animations are
better but the gameplay is clearly worse
than the computer. Again the pro is too
easy but surprise allstar is unplayable (not
enjoyable). There is no "timing" with the
useless ordinary tackle, it basicly counts
only your position. The same goes for the
kicks when under threat. The only working
defending tactic is to sweep like an idiot,
specially if they get near your goal because
they will make that sweet goal with 99%
certainty. If you miss they will at least
make some stupid evading moves and go for
the pass. Then there's the jerking in
defense because absolutely noone can tackle.
Long pass is now known as the pass and will
be intercepted as such. You don't need
normal pass. PLus other annoying stuff. Like
what are those fecking hitting noices?

Basicly there isn't much playing to do
anymore just hammer the keys and do certain
things right. Optimized for the consoles.
They should atleast add some ai controls
on the setup like in NHL 2001 so we can
tweak it more playable.

And I guess they really can't develop that
horrible manager. Your finger will hurt
trying to look for that player clicking
through team by team player by player. Well
there is really no use for that when you can
buy Ronaldo for two crappy players. Might
be the best football sim of the year but
it's not like I have to play them.
