What is the best team for fifa2001 (the game)
Well I started to transfer people to an unknown, to "try" to make the best team and It was like this:

Barthez,
Roberto Carlos, Nesta, Stam, Desaily,
Beckham, Boban, Rivaldo, Figo,
Shevchenko, Batistuta.

But then I looked at Man U and saw that Scholes was very good (better then Beckham)

Tudor, Ferrara, Maldini,
Figo, Conte, Cocu, Guardiola,
Rivaldo, DelPiero, Inzaghi, Overmars

Total Attack.

Only 3 outsiders : Both the best in business though.

Here is (in my opinion) the best team you can put together in FIFA 2001 with reasons for each.

GK: J. Chilaver (Paraguay)-His stats are not quite as good as Barthez or Schmiecel, but after watching the '98 World Cup, how could he not be your goalie.

Sweeper: L. Yong-Pyo (Rep. Korea) Only man in the game that I can find with both 7 speed and tackle.

Left Back: P. Vieria (Argentina) Although not a back in the game, his 6 speed and 7 tackle ratings make him ideal.

Right Back: M. Desailly (France) Again, 6 speed and 7 tackle, quality player.

Center Back: R. Carlos (Brazil) Sounding like a broken record, but 6 speed and 7 tackle. His offensive skills earn him the center nod over the 2 outside guys.

Center Mid: Rivaldo (Brazil) Simply the best player in the game.

Center Mid: Scholes (England) Simply the 2nd best player in the game.

Right Mid: G. Mendietta (Argentina) - Can do it all.

Left Mid: G. Hagi (Galatarsay) - See G. Mendietta

Right Forward: No. 9 for Inter Milan (Ronoldo) 7's in speed, shooting, and ball control.

Left Forward: T. Henry (France) - 7's in speed and shooting, and a 6 in ball control.

Honorable Mention: R. Keane, G. Batistuta, P. Schmeicel, M. Owen, D. Bergkamp, D. Beckham, G. Raul, and J. Zanetti.

i think i can beat any team as long as i've owen in the team... his speed is quite good in the game...
