Firstly, thanks to the guys at FifaEngland for their time and effort in making this patch.

I was able to download and install the main file which created the FifaFX within Fifa2001, that was all well and good and seems to have added the new teams and updated the rosters.

I have also downloaded some of the team files, but when I run the FifaFX application it says an error has occured try restarting your machine, which I have done which has no effect.

Sys Specs are:

Windows Me
Celeron 400
128mb ram
Riva TNT 2

Any help would be appreciated.

do you have Direct X 8?????

and unzzip it in the data/enviro folder, the right click the three files you have just unzzip and uncheck the Read-only box...
that's it ^_^

did you did what I told you on the other post:

James, I have already put the file for the crowd used in FifaFX....
so how come you're saying it does not work?

I have checked and have DirectX 8, and still no joy.

Is FifaFX supposed to run in the background while Fifa2001 is running and will dynamically reload satdiums and crowds, music etc when you play the next game ?

The only odd thing I have with my install is that the original install kept asking for the CD when it was already in the drive, so I have copied over a cracked version of the fifa exe, is this likely to cause the problem ?

no that willn't fix the problem what you need to do is download another crowd from some were else cause the orginal dont work with it

this is pretty weird but I think it's because you have Windows ME...

i dont think that having a cracked version would change anything
