now i understand your question. i've never heard of that problem before. try asking in the support forum.

If you are using a controller, pause game with controller and select team management also with conroller..I found that if I pause with ESC and select team managment using arrow keys it wont let you. If you play with a controller you must make all menu changes with he controller....hope thatmakes sense

Sounds like another 'bug' that they've not fixed from FIFA 07. If playing the game with the keyboard you cannot then select Team Management using the mouse - they are not viewed as the same controller. Select that menu item with the keyboard and you should then be OK to use the mouse thereafter.

Yep, you have to keep using the same control method for menus as in-game, its a really stupid bug

I'm afraid not. I wouldn't touch Vista with yours so have no personal experience of the OS. I believe that there are significant issues with the nVidia video drivers, but short of that I have no wisdom to impart.

Ok thanks steve.... I have just upgraded to vista and it has many bugs,
so far I cannot install any hardware, printers, external drives etc
and display drivers were corrupt when I first installed it

vista needs more months of testing....

I'm not entirely sure if this is what u'r doing, but I use the keyboard to play the game, etc. and it say's the same thing if I click on the "Team Management" option using the mouse, but if I select it by pressing "Enter" on the keyboard it works fine.
