View Full Version : Editting misc16.fsh with EA Graph, Help!

I'm a little confused about editing the misc16.fsh file using EA Graph.

I seem to be able to successfully edit almost all the files like EDGE.fsh, BBLL.fsh etc... I just open the EDGE.fsh that I made from the .gif I created, save the palette, apply it to the EDGE.fsh file in misc16.fsh and then import my editted EDGE.fsh file.

The only thing is, I seem to have an awfull lot of trouble using the same technique to edit the LOGS.fsh and LOGR.fsh (the Rexona for Men files). The new palettes won't save and I end up getting really weird colours when I import the new files. I've tried importing them using grfxpak, but that only seems to work some of the time. What's going on here?

Also, when I have been able to successfully import those files to both the misc16.fsh and misc8.fsh files... they (as well as the smed.fsh file!) don't show up in the game on the pause screen. I can't figure out where the game is still getting the original graphics from, 'cause as far as I know, I've editted them all out.

While I'm at it.... one last question.

Is there a trick to swapping nets.fsh files between misc16.fsh files? I've had no luck with that either. Everytime I try EA Graph tells me something about a global palette and that all my information will be lost. I think I did it with grfxpak once, but there was no transparency between the mesh.

Help!
