..for pro evo on their PC.
If so what you use? any good? any ghosting?
I'm thinking of getting this beast http://microdirect.co.uk/productInfo.aspx?ProductID=16668&Page=2 (@22" may be too big tho as I sit only 2 foot away from screen lol)
Used to play on an lcd years ago but Ghosting in gaming was terrible (especially for pes due to speed of play) I'm guessing/hoping that the new technology will be ok.

Good choice mate, I bought the 20" widescreen model 2 weeks ago and I'm really happy with it. Previously I had a 17" 4:3 TFT and the difference is huge. ;)
Ghosting shouldn't be an issue anymore... At least, I couldn't notice this effect so far when playing.

good stuff man!!
Its only £30 dif between 20" and 22". Do you find the 20"s comfortable lol :bob:. I'm wondering if 22" would be too large for other stuff i.e. surfing net, typing, other games (fps etc) as my desk and room is small and keyboard close to screen. Obvioulsey It would be class for dvds and games where I can use pads though.

To be honest, I find 20" more than comfortable. As I wrote, it's such a big difference in terms of gained space on the screen. ;)
I don't know from what inch you want to upgrade but if it's your first widescreen monitor, you will love the new feeling when playing games, browsing the net (no horizontal scrolling anymore etc.), writing letters (you can easily display 2 sheets in DIN-A4 format in parallel)...
Space and distance were also criterias for me and as I sit quite close to the screen too (although not that close like you ;)), I have chosen the 20" model. After a few days I already got used to the new size and you will get used to it too pretty fast.
My advice, if you actually sit only 2 feet away from your screen, 20" should be absolutely sufficient. But if you don't mind and you have the extra £30, then go buy the bigger version, also because of your intention to use the LCD for watching dvds too. FPS in games could indeed become critical when playing in high resolution and you don't have a strong graphics card, this should be considered of course.

Well atm I have a 19" crt so I'm guessing a 20" lcd will look similar or smaller in screensize due to the widescreen. I have just bought a brand new high-end gaming machine so no worries on that front already had the demo on highest settings and looks amazing.
Well as money isn't an issue maybe I should just go for 22. Ah well decisions, decisions????
I have the older Samsun model of the same size as the one you are looking at. I've played the demo with it. And I've use 30" lcd. I don't think it's too big. You'll love it.
