Why is FIFA 2001 based on FIFA 2000 rather than on EURO 2000?
There were so many nice things in EURO:
1. Jerseys got dirty while playing the game.
2. Player names were on the back.
3. You were able to access the EURO menu by using the gamepad.
4. The team management was a lot more useful.
And addition few other things:
1. When playing internationals you will get the national flags (works for Germany). When playing Ireland you will get a white-green-white flag! Eh..., that's not the irish one...
2. And the roster is kinda weird. Players who left in '99 are included in '01. Weird.
3. I wanted to play Cologne (Bundesliga). Their jerseys in FIFA are red. In real life the jerseys are snow white. Besides in FA Premiership Manager from EA the jerseys are correct...
Same company different jerseys?
Who can explain??
