Okay. Anyone with any tips, please post them here in an effort to help people. I will try to start off with a few I know.
1) On a breakaway, press lob as the goalie is rushing you. The ball will pop over his head, and go in (if you were in the middle of the field. If you were running toward the post, it will sometimes go wide).
2) Same as above, but with the hurdle button.
3) Don't stand in front of the goalie in an attempt to block his kick. Too many times have I pressed the aggressive tackle button (fun if you're mad, but it's an automatic ejection).
4) Use the shield button. While holding it, you can press other buttons to do things such as dive, 180 degree escape, sidestep, and so on.
5) On the topic of #4, if you get into the 18-yard box and only one defender is on you, hold the shiled button. Hold it for a few seconds, then get a shot off. Often the goalies are dazed, and don't react in time to stop the shot.
Any other tips would be welcomed.
Sincerely,
Geoff
