I know we're not supposed to post face requests in a new thread, but this is kind of a unique situation. (And admin, please feel free to delete this thread if I'm out of line, I'm not entirely sure as I'm something of a noob here.)

I think it'd be cool and/or useful to have a separate thread for people not looking to have actual club players' faces updated, but their own.

For anyone looking to participate, take an even lighting photo of yourself from the front and profile and attach both photos to a reply to this thread.

I am by no means a face maker, this is for the guys who do make faces to look at and participate in if they feel like. So no hassling them if they don't do exactly as you want. I'll be taking up facemaking eventually, as I have a background in 3D modeling, but I can't seem to understand O-edit for some reason. More importantly, why O-edit can't export/import .obj files or something. Anyways...

use DB master and find the player id of the player you made and change the numbers in the files for the face you made for.

example say your players id is 6666
the file names below are for a Andreas Brehme face i have (classic XI player)

M228__166120
t21__166120_0_0
t22__166120_0

change the "166120" to "6666" in all the files then import them and it should work. if not just open the .big file with the face you just imported ad export the files out.

hope that works.

Never mind, I figured it out! I had to put the files in zdata00 for some reason. Thanks for the help though!

hahah poor ps3 guy, nice idea this thread, i made my face for fifa08 and also faces for 2 friends of mine haha, why dont u use the CM instead of the DB? its much easier to insert faces and, basically everything

yes that was posted a long time before CM08 was out

I've been waiting for something like this for ages! I would've requested on the face requests thread sooner but i would've came off as a very sad case. lol

Anyway, I'll upload some pics of myself to add to this thread later in the week.
