After all the critics something good and something bad for you - EA Sports developers:

Good: The graphics, not just in general, are absolutely stunning. I like the security at the pitch, the linesmen, the benches.
Bad: I miss my playernames on the jerseys and the fact that the jerseys don't get dirty after all. It was there in EURO 2000 why did you take it away??

Good: The jerseys with logos and sponsors. It feels a lot more realistic.
Bad: Why the heck is the colour not correct for some major teams. You got that right since RTWC 98. Why not this year??

Good: Music when a player scores for the hometeam. For real! Like in the Bundesliga...
Bad: Music when the away team scores. What a load of rubbish...

Good: Team management. This time with different options like contain, counter attack...
Bad: When creating starting line up you still can't see where the player is on the field. That was possible in FIFA 99.

Good: You can increase the player ratings.
Bad: Some key players are seriously underrated. You and yourself have to amend the thing.

Good: The team or national flags are waving the crowd.
Bad: I played Ireland and got the wrong flag. I know few Irishmen who would seriously offended (No, I am NOT irish).

Good: The interface is very clear as always.
Bad: The EURO 2000 interface easily outclasses the FIFA 2001 simply because you can use your gamepad for it.

Good: The tower camera.
Bad: The tele camera - way too close. Anybody out there who can change it?

Good: The animations. They are really good. I didn't believe it when watching a right footed player making a low pass to the right. Great! Goalkeepers are way more realistic as well. And also they are right handed.
Bad: Noop, nothing at all.

All in all: Despite having so many good ideas and putting them in EA Sports took away stuff we had in RTWC 98, World Cup 98 and EURO 2000 which have more, eh let's say SOUL than FIFA 99, 00 or 01.

BUT: It is the best FIFA game so far. It's certainly not the perfect game. If the EA people would combine this FIFA 2001 with WC98 and EURO 2000 - wow - what a great game this could be...

At long last some one on this board is a human being who can make his points without insults or low remarks...

A thumbs up for ckrohm who can make a arguement in the correct manner...

If I was working for EA I would take your points with open arms as you backed up your statements with a decent arguement...

Thanks Evangelion ! I don't know if any of the EA Sports guys does actually read messages in this forum (maybe Matt can tell us more about it) but you never know.
Anyway: I am actually looking forward to buy the full version after playing the Warez version...

Aah, just one thing EA Sports: Could you not give us the same editor of FA Premiership Manager 2001 for FIFA 2001? That would be actually fab!
