Where do I save them? What directory??

you have to create a folder in your "My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008" folder called 'graphics' (if you haven't got it yet)

inside that one, create subfolders called "kits" or "logos" or "players" or whatever...

put the patch files in the respective folder, and you're set.

oh, turn off "Skin Cache" on your 'Preferences' menu in the game
