That's funny. I've probably only played the 2008 version a couple times and Chelsea have definitely bought Pandev every single time. Try to shake it up by declaring interest the next game you play.

It's pretty logical really. At the start of each game the cpu Chelsea manager will calculate the same: he recognises the same weaknesses and then buyes the player that is best suited for filling the gap

I can't tell you where anyone goes in my game..Im still playing FM07..Tried 08 a few times (after both patches etc) but at the moment the whole 30 shots on goal for 1 goal thing annoys me too much!

I'm sorry, Alex, but Pandev is nothing like Kovacevic...Kovacevic is a target man, whereas Pandev is utilised by Lazio as a second striker behind Rocchi. Pandev often drifts into midfield and tries to finds space between the opposition's midfield and defence a la Rooney...no way has he got the strength to play as a lone striker.

I just started again and he's gone off to Chelsea on mine as well. Arsenal have signed Mutu as well, they did on my first game.

I'm sure it's a playervalue/ability/sugardady thing combo issue so chelski end up being his first transfer.. like 90% of the time.
