Some people here think that is almost impossible to break that limitation, mostly because it would take serious editing or hacking in the file fifa2008.exe, and so far none has mastered such skill.

I think we have been through this atleast 3 times. No one on the forums can do it so its impossible but i wouldnt put past those guys at FIFA4FANS doing it eventually.

How about saving the files directly in the root folder I think it can help keep the fifa.fat size small.

The root folder trick works since Fifa 2004 but it has its limitations also, I won't go into detail but fact is the more you put there the more memory Fifa will need and the slower it will run, you need a very good machine to put tons of stuff there. Fifa07 has a 441kb fifa.fat limitation, I don't remember the Fifa08 one but it's much smaller, so that ruined it already for me and is the main reason I skip the 08 version.

And that is why I still play 07.

you can put whatever you want in FIFA root folder in 08 and no limitations at all. Esterry putted 500 stadiums and everything works fine! its the trick, who lets me make World of FIFA patch!

Then it works better than it did in previous Fifa series but another big setback for this trick is that everything you put there can't be edited by Creation Centre or Creation Manager, as the root folder files will not appear in those programs. Until the makers of these editing tools include a way to read data outside the classical zdata files in combination to the data inside the zdatas. Since I am no programmer I don't know if this is difficult to realise or not.

in the EA SPORTS/FIFA xx folder where xx is your Fifa version. But read my previous post regarding editing or modifying the files, big setback.
