Liverpool beat the Czech team who are top of there league in the czech republic by a Emile Heskey goal 6 minutes from time. Liverpool didn't play to there standards but to win while not playing so well is a good sign of the liverpool of old cos thats what they used to do when they wasn't playing so well. At the end of the day the main thing when your playing at home in a UEFA Cup match is to win and not let any goals past you and thays what we did. I'm really happy and am gonna party all night WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO.

John Motson actually said that Slovan Liberec's centre back - the old, short, fat, bald one (No 4) was only just good enough to play for a pub team, not the Liverpool players.
But Liverpool did play badly and didn't really deserve to win, but I am glad they did, partly because they are my second favorite team and partly because I don't like Slovan Liberec.
