the left and right trigers are not working, the pause button is the left analog stick.. the right analog stick is not working, instead of press A to continue i need to press X.. what do i need to do?

What you need to do is unplug your controller, start the game, and while on the main menu screen, plug your controller back in and all is well. Drove me crazy for weeks before I found a fix. It definately will solve your problem.
