What is the biggest wage you have had as a manager?
i have just signed a 135k a week deal at Arsenal at the end of second season(Y)(Y)
Never used this per week thing, anyway never really played with a big team since.. I dont even remember, so I've always had relatively small wages.
ive never been too fussed tbh..
I can't remember..In my FM07 game I got it bloody high though :-)
Started with a lowly club too, ubt ended up taking a job at Chelsea :( I was offered a job at Tottenham, and like them much more, but took the job at Chelsea because of the money...because I like my games being realistic :D
i always choose the lowest wages, after all it's only taking money out of your own budgets in the end.

^^Exactly what I always think aswell. You only damage you're own wage budget by asking ridiculously high wages. I always choose the lowest one.

Isn't it if you have a higher wage as a manager it makes you harder to fire? Read that somewhere but don't know if it's true. I usually take somewhere in the middle anyway. Would be neat if you could actually do something with the money, like frequent prostitutes or something. That would be a nice feature SI could implement.

Omg New Star Soccer rocks (H)
I always choose the lowest wage as well. Bankrupt no please.
Yeah, Im quite against these managers that take the lowest wage, so they get more money in their budget..VERY unrealistic..
I'm not actually sure that manager wages and wage budget are even linked, because that's YOUR wage budget, not the clubs? The only way manager wages effects things, as I see it, is in total profit/loss of the club...
But IRL, a manager will always take as much money as he can get anyway..
Meh, I'm sure I wont convince anyone, but I agree 100% with Reitz...Taking a lower wage makes the game very unrealistic..Why not just go and play one of those unrealistic management games out there. SI have a great game, and added the feature to make it even more realistic, and people try and exploit it as almost a 'cheat'..
good to see we're blaming our selves now instead of putting it all on SI's poorly optimized 2d engine :p
