Since I also play games like Rouge Spear, Need for Speed, and others - good graphics is important to me, as is realism. Fifa 2001's graphics are brilliant, the game's realism ain't bad at all (apart from what others have been saying from crosses, passes, etc.) And I really enjoy playing it.

What destroy's the realism is the stupid substitutes who repeate the same two frame (strech from side to side) animation OVER and OVER and OVER, it's irritating, they're also very low detail and it shows.

Also the guys that stand around the stadium (can't remember what you call them, with the yellow jackets). These guys seem to be dancing from one foot to the other looking around in yet ANOTHER two-frame animation that gets old in about three seconds. Then, for the love of god, they actually DRAW these guys in IN 2D on the stadium. How cheesy is that! :)

These movements should have been made random and not repated OVER and OVER, and more detail should have been put into them - especially because EA made such a big thing about "side-line detail".

This game is great, but if you're gonna advertise "side-line detail" and then put in the "side-line" and forget about the "detail" someone like me's gonna moan :).

Well mate, when I play Fifa I get so frustrated because this game is everything but realistic, that dont even look at the things that happen at the sideline. The yellow guys you mean are the 'stewards'the people who always say you have to sit down when you are standing and singing and having a good time.

Fifa2001 is a complete joke!a waste of money you might want to call it...
It's just an updated Fifa2000 if you're being critical :)

Yeah i agree......and another thing is that the computer teams only sub their players when they get injured and never for tactical reasons..... :rolleyes:

Doubt the guys at EA know what tactical means :rolleyes:
