at all costs? doubt it, he's not a bad player, but i think he would suck ass in PL.........

Suck ass in the EPL? What are you on about buddy? Have you seen him play, he's not exactly crap in Serie A and holds his own in an excellent Roma squad. He's amazing, and with Viera controlling the midfield and giving him space he'll be able to give Henry and (insert Arsenal striker) many more chances than they've had this season. I think he'd be the ideal man to partner Patrick in midfield.

I surely hope they don't get him. ;)

Actually, I've also heard Milan are in for Nakata too.

Manutd were after him before he went to Roma, he looks a good player and the goal he scored against Juventus was awsome!
He is a tricky player, I don't think anyone can say that a player would suck ass if he played in the premier league. You will only find out once he gets here

personally i would love to see Nakata in Arsenal colors next season....i think he would be a great asset to the team as an attacking midfielder combining well with Viera in the engine room...its time to get rid of Bergkamp,Kanu,Wiltord,Lauren,Grimandi,Manninger and some of those players who hardly get a run out...time to go back to the Graham days and bring in some unknown British talent with a few sporadic foreign signings...Henry is not a true centre forward(striker),he is more or less a forward who plays on the left or right,we never replaced Ian Wright in my mind...I would suggest we buy Darko Kovacevic from Juventus...oh how bout getting Stan the Fireman out of retirement lol :D ...also we should play Upson some more, then find a young right back who we can blood....there are quite a couple good young players from places like Russia,Eastern Europe,Australia and Scandanavia...not everything should be damn French,Brazilian,German and Italian!!!!

personally i'm also hoping that arsenal won't not able to get him... cause he would definitely create a lot of problem to a lot of team... i guess the asking price is just too much... 28million pound... hehehe...

Roma's asking price is 28m but Arsenal are only prepared to pay 15m.

Another good one d!ckhead!!!!!!grimandi and manniger but u got to be fvckin brainless to let quality players like lauren and bergkamp go.
TONY UR A FVCKIN IDIOT

Let Bergkamp and Wiltord go, you must be brainless indeed. Bergkamp is very important because he knows how to reach players during a match without a problem and he can score goals. Wiltord proved to be a good striker as well so Tony think again...fool!

Nakata is o.k but the askingprice is ridiculous!
There are better players for that price on the market.
Nakata sayonara for that price

As a gooner, I don't agree with selling ANY of the players we have at our squad over the summer. Why?
Because selling players means reorganization, which means playing crap for a few crucial games before the "replacement" for whomever you sold gels into the team.
As an example of this, look what happened when Petit and Overmars were allowed to leave Arsenal. Overmars was replaced with Pires, who eventually did the job, but Petit has never been satisfactorily replaced.
Grimandi, Parlour, Vivas, Lauren, hell even Bergkamp (versus Lazio) had a go in the centre of the park to account for the hole left by Petit's absence. Eventually, Grimandi, (who, i might add is incredibly UNDERRATED :(), did the job well, but the crucial time it took to realise this meant the League had already been lost.
The team needs strengthening, but not the dreaded, "REORGANIZING".

Right I'm done ranting and raving now... ;) :D

all i can say is that Bergkamp is washed up now...we need goals...not pretty plays!!!...and another thing is i think Petit was crap anyway..he looked good only cause the rest of Arsenal was kinda playing good at the time...he's no more than a focking whinner...just like some of you pricks in here!!!!

Yeah, dead right Silencer. If Bergy was still playing for Holland they wouldn't have had that scare against Estonia, they would have kicked ass. Also, They wouldn't be having so much trouble trying to qualify.
Speaking from Ireland's point of view, with Bergy retired and Davids banned, things are looking much rosier for World Cup Qualification than they did back in August 2000.

I do thin that Wenger should give some of the youngsters a chance, and also some of the players that we bought that never get a chance either. I have seen Vivas, Edu, Stepanovs and Danilevicius play in front of my own eyes, and they are better than some of their performances suggest. The only reason they are so inconsistent is because they know their place in the side is nowhere near secure, so their confidence drops like a bomb. :(
Young players like Pennant,Barrett,Halls and Taylor should get more chances than they do also.
That's my two cents :D ;)

well, i must agreed with sillencer on Bergkamp,... he may have lost a bit of his touch lately due to the fact that he has been out for so long and player just need time to get back some of his touchs back.. just give him sometimes and he will be just like sheringham and mcallister...
