Dutch is great, Turkish is probably should be there too, but Japan and MLS suck big time... MLS is the place for 37-year olds, and although in MLS good players get less money than in Europe, but 37-year olds get more money in MLS.... With Stoichkov, Mattheus, Ravelli, Azizi...

Portugal should not be there either... Turkey, Russia, Norway, Czech Rep., Portugal, Greece are pretty even leagues, and if one is added and one is not, it looks pretty unfair...

No no no, the english premiership is definately the best league in the world and the best to watch...... Hope to see some of you England supporters over here in Helsinki for Finland-England World Cup qualifiers. Jar Litmanen looks to be in good form but I don't quite understand why Joan Gaspart isn't allowing him into the squad... it's a stupid reason just to say that because he was a friend of Van Gaal he can't play!?!?! i just know GATALASARY and don't know others team. but i saw a couple time turkish league and sorry to say this for turkish fans...the turkish league player play like DIV 3 in ENGLAND...it's true and you got to admit it.......

I think Italy is the best as I feel it offers more technically and the skill level is higher that any other league.

England second cause its very entertaining but lacks that bit of skill now and then especially from the mid to lower table side.

Spain third, technically its good but apart from afew teams its pretty average.

I figure that Russian and Turkish leagues play on the same level. Galatasaray and Besiktas are financial giants (Besiktas ad 30 million dollars for transfers last midseason) and Besiktas with Galatasaray would probably get top spots in Russian Championship along with Spartak. Fenebahce plays on Lokomotiv Moscow level, and would probably get 4th place in Russian championship if Gala and Besiktas would also play there:

russian rocket you are wrong about fenerbahce. they are the one of the worst teams in turkey. they spent 60 million last year and they placed 4th place in the league but most of the games was 1 - 0, 2-1. every week they were lucky to win a game.
the rest of the teams in turkey are always challenging for the turkish giants, example last week besiktas have lost 4 - 2to gaziantepspor. fenerbahce won 1-0 against antalyaspor. it was a very hard game for fenerbahce.
fenerbahce would be placed in the 8th place in the russian league lets be realistic here. galatasaray might be on the top.

i am seriouse i watched the game last week. a turkish giant lost against a non giant team 4-2. if you watch the turkish league you will know what i mean.

That's not entirely untrue; in FIFA99 and FIFA2000 I averaged 80 goals a tournament as opposed 20 or 30 for the other most high-scoring teams, and this was on World Class. It's not that hard to score, it's the easiest game there is. My top-scoring forward in the European Dream League in FIFA 99 had 60 goals once. In FIFA 2000 he averaged 40-50. You can do the same type of goals over and over again, and especially with the speed that FIFA plays at. Just because you may not be able to do it, doesn't mean others can't ;0)

tekno this is not an issue about fifa 2000 or 99, some one have said that in fifa 2001 a goal scorer will have 10 goals per game. yes i know that is true in fifa 99 and 2000 but i don't want that to happen because the game gets boring. thats why i asked how can that be true in fifa 2001 because ea should improve on that.

2-spain(less quality teams and players)
3-england
4-germany(its germany)
5-brasil(the breddng ground for the above 4 leagues)

9 and 10 are a lot of leagues that have one or 2 good teams bit do not deserve to be named
