I just read on one site that the power bar will be in fifa 2001 and works just like in ISS. Cool guys if it's true it'll be fantastic.

As I said in another post, rumour has it that the shooting system in FIFA 2001 is almost near-as-damnit lifted from ISS... could I comment? No... as I said, its a rumour. We shall see.

It's not a rumor; FIFA 2001 will actually have a power bar that will be exactly like ISS's. IGN has received a finished copy of the game to make a preview and this is what they had to say:

"The game now has a shot power meter that works a lot like it does in Konami's soccer titles. While we haven't really played enough of the game to tell if this addition significantly enhances the gameplay or not, but it's definitely a plus and not a minus."

I just hope the powerbar works for shots and long balls like in ISS and Virtual Striker(one of the first games to have a powerbar)
