Well the untucked shirt and long sleeve minis and manager features you could see from a few videos that have been posted, but I don't know about all the other stuff...

Isn't it weird btw that Vista requires twice the processing power and 4 times the internal memory? Could that mean that Euro 08 is NG on Vista?

Fifa specs were:

CPU for XP/2000: Pentium 4 (1,3Ghz) or equivalent.
Memory requirements for XP/2000: 256Mb RAM

CPU for Vista: Pentium 4 (1,5Ghz) or equivalent.
Memory requirements for Vista: 512Mb RAM


Euro 2008 is 2,4 ghz on Vista and 1gb ram.

there is only one zdata file ... and it is corrupt, so no chance to get any fsh files ;)

Upload all zdatas,just kidding,try to remove some files and check ZDATA 5,and see if there is a ofile named as m_200

Yes, it's CG. From database I can see the only teams playable in the demo are France and Germany. Of course there are lots of new tables in the db and it's true: there are the kits coming out of the shorts ;)
I didn't managed to open any zdata yet and it's true: only 2 zdata can be extracted: one is zdata_00 empty and the other is the zdata_01 with corrupted files (there is m200_ in it).

there is only one zdata file ... and it is corrupt, so no chance to get any fsh files ;)

There are 2 zdata files. 00 and 01. 00 is empty and 01 is corrupted. Furthermore... there is no fifa.db file. There isn't even 1 .db file!!

With db master. The weather table seems to be linked to teams not to stadiums. There is also a snow_conditions table always linked to teams...

There is also a kit clash table...

Ah, fifa.fat now is file.fat and fifa.db is dbase.db :D

I used the recovery tool with Winrar and I was able to extract something into a folder. Then I have used EA installer of the game. Of course the installer stops at a point because it does not find zdata_03,04,05,etc but it's able to install db files and others ;)

Hi, i have tested that demo and it is failed. But next I wanted to play it for fun, i coppied some files from Fifa 08 and i launched it. Now i can get menu, in options mode there is something like: Force High Detail, is it Next gen preview ?? My demo works but only i cant launch a match. 2 teams France and germany.

Guys - while EA bashing is fun and all, don't you think that if the demo is ready EA would have said? So the fact that you guys have the EA ftp demo site favourited doesn't mean that they put anything there for you guys to download - so quit with the comments about EA being stupid for uploading a demo that doesn't work. It will obviously be ready soon.

They changed the penalti system, the free kick too and the menu and minis looked much better,the turf problem was solved i think and they maked a weather table for each nation.

I think that's going to be the current gen "off" with style. It looks like a perfectly polished game, everything seems fixed. Hope it is ;).

How many teams are in the demo? Only France and Germany?

Yes, only FRA and GER. I have to say I am a little disappointed. Poor kits, nice turf, ball's not bad. But you dont really see the shot power... It's so small. Only one half... :( Dunno, I expected better. Oh, and no commentary.

Lol, they don't even know their products. There are only Germany and France also because there are graphic files only for these teams :D :D :D
