Hi all. Today I come with another fantastic patch never made before... I have found the way to show properly all sky textures (and not only the sunset ones) with their real shape and not with fade or light colours. Finally all the sky textures of stadiums can be really seen...

Great Patch I like it.
But we have only a problem with the add-board ( textures) that we can not se it in the friendly mode in FIFA
and the rebounds by the news Stadiums and the last problem is that not all can add flags like for the home team 100 and for the aways 5 maybe you can fix the last problems :D but maybe made Rinaldo a STADIUM master to fix this problem.

I think we need a detailed tutorial for things like:

- Adboards rotating
- Floodlights
- Waving flags in crowds

That think i too and to the rebounding not only by the Adboards by the stadium is it a must have why that make the game realistic and to the Adboards i wanted to watch my adding Adboards in the friendly mode but i look an can say if we all worked on this project we can it do.
To remember the stadium has not only the O and fash file the stadiums have a loc file for the lights and a loc for the Waving flags and a bin for the Adboards

For those who asked me: the patch modify some "shadow" files, not directly the sky textures, so when you will applied this patch to your fifa, you will immediately see all the textures of your stadiums as they was made by stadium makers ;) No need to edit anything stadium by stadium ;)
However, some EA stadiums have their own shadow files and so, for them, you won't see differences because the game read their shadow, not the generic one edit by me ;)
For this reason maybe I will make a double version with the possibility to delete specific stadium shadows. What do you think about it?

If you mean to do the same thing for UEFA sky, I think the patch is compatible also with that game ;)

No, I mean the STADIUM'S LIGHTING. In FF07, it was a bit yellow (turf), green in FF 08, but "blue" in UCL. I tried to edit turf texture but nothing happened...

When you release the patch at Fifamania I will install the files by hand with Filemaster 07 and tell you if it works :) (all my stadiums have m715.o files present :) )

The skyes doing floodliets and turfs effect in PNG 300 dpi maybe.Upload for me(KREWMEN's colomboJAZZ-FOOTBALL) our textures pleas Outsider. SPACE CRAZY(joke!) Thankyouuuuu.

I will publish the patch tomorrow because I'm doing a little program that creates the sky domes until the id you set in the program. Then it install the domes that are not already present in your zdata ;)

EDIT turf's color can solve the blue turf .

Just use the correct color for night's turf

But I also hope someone can edit the STADIUM'S LIGHTING system too. easier than edit turf.

It depends on how many stadiums you have created.The patch overall is nice and adds to the game a pleasant note. So follow the instructions when you install it And at the end it will ask you a number if you havent created any stadium just press 0. It works fine

Great answer. If instead you have installed lots of stadiums make this thing. Open your FIFA with CM 08, go to stadiums table, go to your last stadium and remember its id. Then, when my patch asks you the number of domes to create, write that number ;)
In this way the patch will install all domes of stadiums until that id and so you won't see any stadium with black sky :)

ps. When i installed skypatch i couldnt run fifa08.exe but I found a way running my game smoothly by using fifa.fat unlimited patch I dont know why it works fine though...

This is not directly due to any patch. Simply, installing some "sky domes" you overcame the fat limit and so you couln't run the normal exe. But of course you could run the unlimited exe because it does not take into consideration the fifa.fat limit and files importation limits ;)

You don't need to install fifa 08. Just install the patch in any folder and then import in FIFA 07 zdatas the files you find in Sky_Patch_08/FifaMania_Installer ;)

If stadiums installed in FIFA 07 have all their own domes you don't have to do nothing with .o files ;)

I just tested this and all I can say is WOW! This makes the game look so much better!

It doesn't work with my FIFA 07. I get the message: The program cannot find the o.files to continue. The program will shut down.
How can I install the sky-domes by hand?

Just go in the folder of the patch and rename these files:
sun.o --> m715__xx_1.o
rain.o --> m715__xx_0.o
sunset.o --> m715__xx_4.o
night.o --> m715__xx_3.o

where xx stands for the stadium id. Do this operation for all your new stadiums (original EA ones have already sky dome) and all is done. Then simply install them with file master 07 into a zdata ;)

Outsider, this is a little offtopic to the skies but i was wondering if you could help me. I've downloaded a stadium that only has day and i want to add night. Would you be able to give me a step by step guide to creating the new textures e.t.c, I had a go but made a bit of a mess of it and didn't really know what i was doing. Thanks in advance for your help.

@Outsider87: Sorry, but it doesn't work. I've tried everything. Importing with Filemaster, importing with Creation Master. Only the skies of night- and overcast- versions work. Sun and dawn is just blue sky.

Moussie: maybe simply the patch files don't work for sun and dawn in FIFA 07... This is possible :)

Perhaps you can tell me, what you've changed in the domes, so I can try it with the original FIFA07 files.

Moussie, domes are nothing especial. They are normal domes. This is not a problem of domes... If you don't see skies in sun and sunset maybe the stadiums have no sky textures (very difficult) or maybe the other patch files simply don't work for those conditions :(

All my importet stadiums (and the original stadiums) have got dome-files. I checked my config_pc_h: sky_render = 1

Has nobody else this problem?
