Hey guys... the time has finally come!

Apologies for the time it's taken to get the patch out, but here it is!

The rar for download is basically two folders - one database folder and another for graphics. Installation instructions below.

Fili has done all the testing due to my lack of time and a working game (all fixed now thankfully), and i'm sure he's done a great job but if anyone notices any problems just let me know and depending on the size/amount of problems i may bring out a second release.

Massive thanks to Fili for his contribution, and to the mods (especially Alex) for their input.

Currently only have one link for download, if anyone is willing to mirror it i would greatly appreciate it.

- Paste the "SG United db" folder onto the 'My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\db' directory.
- Rename the "SG United db" folder to just "SG United".****
- Paste the "SG United graphics" folder onto the 'My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics' directory (create the 'grapchics' folder if you don't already have one)
- You have to start a new game in order to use the SGUtd database. When you do, the game will ask you what database you want to use (i.e. 8.0.0 version; 8.0.1; 8.0.2...); select the SG United one.
- The patch was made using the 8.0.2 official SI update.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please make sure you rename the "SG United db" folder to just "SG United". I didn't realise this actually made a difference... so my bad

can't make it work for me. I copy the SG United db in the db folder but when I click on new game it doesn't show up.

yeah I did exactly what you said and it doesn't show up along the other dbs on the new game screen.

Guys, it's fixed! All you have to do is (besides what I said in my previous post) rename the "SG United db" folder to "SG United". It should work, gentlemen. (Y)

about your name Garlei, it's actually set as "Gary Yung" in the editor - with Gary as your first name. But i think due to your nationality being Honk Kong, it's switched it round - similar to Park Ji-Sung/Ji-Sung Park (but Korea not HK)

I also think you could have put Lior's last name in..Lior Fengas..but no biggie. I did it. Awesome db guys!!!! :)

i had another stab at it but got bored and started a new game with a diff club... got me back into FM again though :D
