Romario: I Had Sex On A Plane And I'm Better Than Pele
Brazilian football legend Romario may have just called time on his glorious career, but he is not yet ready to relinquish the spotlight following some astounding revelations...
The 'Baixinho' confessed to the press that he engaged in sexual intercourse on a plane when on a flight with the Brazilian national team, and that he considers himself "better than Pele."
It's History
"I did this when I started off with the [Brazilian] national team, in one of my first trips. I don't remember exactly when," he recalled on a program on Globo television network. "We took a flight to Switzerland. The rest is history."
Although now retired from football, Romario hasn't lost any of his trademark characteristics - most notably, his self-confidence.
The Best of Them All
The 1994 World Cup winner said that inside of the area he is "the best of them all," and he also considers himself better than Pele.
"Because I never saw Pele play, I consider myself better than him," reasoned the 42-year-old. "But I also know that there is only one Pele. There is only one Maradona as well. And Romario is unique. I don't see any successor. Inside of the area, I was the best of them all."
Escape!
Obviously feeling somewhat liberated by no longer being as accountable for his actions, the legendary striker continued to reveal many of his acts of indiscipline as a player.
He said that he would "always" leave the team hotel without permission when on duty with the Brazilian national team, or with any of his former clubs.
"I always escaped from hotels," he revealed. "In the Brazil-Uruguay match in '93, I escaped from the hotel and I went to another one."
"In the Copa America, outside of Brazil, in Bolivia, I also left [the hotel]. In the '94 World Cup, I left the hotel at least twice to go for a lap around the place. I have always escaped. Nobody knew. Not even me," he joked.
One of his less startling revelations of the day was that he is hoping to have another child. Despite having had a vasectomy, the Brazilian opted to have some sperm frozen should he ever choose to have more children, which now apparently appears to be the case.
Amidst all the bravado, he was not afraid to show his weakness either. He admitted to being a "nervious" flyer, a little wary of dogs and a few other tidbits in what proved to be a comically revealing interview from a man that will live long in the memory of football.

easyeasyeasy 22-04-2008, 05:48:PM Ah but the thing is bybuti, those other threads that have been cropping up on here is the work of a spammer who has been banned loads of times for posting utter nonsense links to "footballmercato.com".
bybuti 22-04-2008, 05:51:PM yeah i know, but i opened this thread for us (me, you and other users), who really wants to be informed about daily news and other stuffs :)
Interista13 22-04-2008, 06:01:PM LMAO! that story about Romario is hilarious...I bet Pele probably did it in places where Romario wouldn't even dare:innocent_smile_1:
This guy is such a joke he never fails to crack me up (Y)
Anyway, nice thread bybuti but there are constant soccer news articles coming out and it would be a bit of a pain to always update this thread...I mean it would just be easier if people would go on goal.com or something and look for themselves...
bybuti 22-04-2008, 06:50:PM yeah you are right.
But I'm not planing to update this thread everyday. I just think to put here some interesting news like that one :)
ShearerM4 22-04-2008, 09:59:PM There's not much action in the Soccer area as it is these days and personally I hate uberthreads. Nothing personal bybuti but this is rather pointless.
I'd rather have several new threads than one thread that is 900 pages long.
Bobby 22-04-2008, 10:08:PM Romario is a total legend.
newbie original 23-04-2008, 09:13:PM I agree with ShearerM4.
Besides, its refreshing to have a new thread for a new topic rather than one continuous and rather boring thread to encapsulate everything.
Plectrum 29-04-2008, 11:40:AM I bet Pele probably did it in places where Romario wouldn't even dare:innocent_smile_1:
Wasn't Pele the face of Viagra a few years back?
Help? 29-04-2008, 10:58:PM No thanks, The team threads **** it up as it is.
ShearerM4 29-04-2008, 11:13:PM Or we could rename this thread to "The Weird Sex Stories and Brazilian players Thread"
Trannies Blame Ronaldo For Motel Bust-Up

Three transvestites have accused Brazilian football star Ronaldo of threatening to harm them after discovering they were men at a Rio de Janeiro motel.

Two of the transvestites
Police said they were also looking into an accusation by the 31-year-old player that one of the three men tried to extort 50,000 reais (about £15,000) from him.
The AC Milan forward - a three times World Player of the Year - claims the man threatened to go to the media about the incident unless he paid up.
Ronaldo, who is back in his hometown recovering from an injury, left a nightclub in the posh Barra da Tijuca neighbourhood early on Monday.
According to police, he was with three call girls but later found out they were men.
He then offered each of them about £300 to wrap up the matter, but only two of them accepted the deal, officers continued.
"I have to check both sides of the story, the transvestites' version and Ronaldo's," police chief Carlos Augusto Nogueira said.
"Ronaldo said he is not good in the head and that he is going through psychological problems because of his recent surgery."
In a statement, Ronaldo said he was a victim of extortion and would take all possible steps to clear his name, according to Globo television network website.
Representatives for Ronaldo were not immediately available for comment.
The player suffered a career-threatening knee injury in February in a match against Livorno.
Ronaldo suffered a similar injury in his right knee when playing for Inter Milan in 2000.
Help? 29-04-2008, 11:20:PM Oh man, you know Ronaldo was macking that before he found out the stick no doubt.
newbie original 30-04-2008, 02:29:AM The one on the left looks like fatty.........only fatter.
