A call out to everyone, I encourage you to look at some of the questions posted on the 'Ask EA some questions' posted by Matt, some of the suggestion and questions are very good and merit some response, if it is seen that quite a few people support certain questions in particular, I think Matt would greatly consider sending those as well.

Well more questions, answered, but some of them we already knew the answers to long before they were sent, like, will there be linesmen? The fact that the ansewre, which is YES has been known long before that question was officially sent, but it helps newcomers know more about the game without having to plow the website thoroughly, still, good questiong, must be supported, so If you have a good question or support one sent by you or anyone else, post it here!

here is a copy of the question I posed to the 'Ask EA fifa2001 questions' Let me have some feedback on this guys.

Will EA introduce a shortcut for substituting during gameplay as menu changes are sometimes irritatingly time consuming, e.g. for PC users a keyboard short cut e.g hodling 's' or 'shift-key' then the shirt number of player to come off followed by number of player to come on during the game, the switch takes place when ball out of play and can be cancelled before.

Will there be multiple players for the season option? If not can EA not make it so before the game's release.

Would or can EA make all fixture list games in the Season and other game options playable - this was available inf FIFA99 fir PC but not FIFA2000 - this would enable a form of multiplay in season.

Would the custom tournament setting allow users to construct a season like format of play? or

for example these questions by akbulut_mu are good and alrday have a backer.
1. Is there any correction in offside,i.e, when you shot directly, there should not be officide if player is not directly involved in position.
2.There is in no Fifa "hand" or "playing with hand".
3. Are keepers god, since they are invulnerable to all kind of kicks,or punch. In addition to this, It is impossible to take red card with Keeper.
4. The goals that can be made with corner should definetely be reduced.
5. Direct freekick goals are very unlikely in contrast real games.
6.Somehow,a goalkeeper can play as a striker in Fifa. There should be a performance decrease if player is in a different position.

Here is another question I think is good, posted by Mace

This time will players on the pitch react accordingly to various weather conditions such as skidding when turning abruptly during heavy reain and snow? as for e.g. it is quite ridiculous doing 360 spins succesively and successfully in such weaather conditions, unless you are Zidane?

Very good question, even in normal conditions I find hard to believe the way players in FIFA move, they can change direction and still run at top speed.

Now some of mine http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Are the fouls being better called? In past FIFAs you can easily tackle a player from behind and bring him down without committing a foul.

What about tackle control and tackle recover time, is the direction of the tackl still controled by the CPU or now its manual? Does it take longer for a player to recover from a tackle? In FIFA98/99/2000 players can tackle non-stop chasing players while tackling AMERICAN FOOTBAL STYLE

yeah good question about the tackling, I'd like to see the reality factor go up, and if they are worried about the fun factor being cut by making the tackles and turns mmore realistic they could make it an option, but Ii thiinkk they don't need to, because the last game was easy enough as it was, especially if you good do those super human feats often

What do you think about restricting certain special moves to certain special players or certain types of players, like forwards can do the 360 spin, but defenders a different version or something else, not such a good idea I guess

these are my questions

1. did fifa made the pitch larger?
2. are the players are moving slower than fifa 200?
3. does the referee stops the game when a player gets injured?

i defenitly want to see more calls from the referees. more cards too. i mean when a player tackles my player and the ref barely calls them. the size of the picth defenetly needs to be larger in size and slower moving players. the players are very fast in fifa 2000 and really bugs me so much. i mean this is not hockey for it to be a fast past game, this is futbol. so please fix these areas.
thank you

Will there be a PRECISE simulation of the Champions League? i.e.
a) TWO group stages with 8x4=32 teams in the 1st stage and 4x4=16
teams in the 2nd stage
b) Teams that finish 3rd in their group go to the UEFA Cup
c) Will the ORIGINAL groups be implemented (Champions League,
period 2000-2001) instead of randomized ones?

1. Are we ever going to see a hand penalty?
2. Will there be reserves getting into the
game from a PC oponent.
3. More flexible tactics, like in Fifa 99,
where a single player could be put
anywhere in the field.
4. Upgrade World class level.
5. Better defenders.

Charlie

1. Hand Penalty
2. PC get's reserves into game, not only
cause of an injury.
3. Better goalkeepers
4. Better defence

I have asked this question before, but have not had a full answer, so I'll ask it here.

Will there be International Selection on 2k1?

As this will enable us to put the players who most recently played for the national side into the game and not players who were in the side a year ago!

For instance where are Joe Cole and Graeme LeSaux in the England line-up and another year with Shearer, give me a break!
