Can I play multiplayer over a network with FIFA 2001 using one copy?

Nope. It is unfair that home network users have to fork out for two copies of many multiplayer games. You might find a CD crack on the internet that might allow you to play without the CD and I do believe that there is a commercial product available which allows you to run CD's from your HDD.

One of which is called 'CD Copier' from IMSI. I've found it quite a handy program.

I have played a network game with one CD and no special set ups or programmes.

I went to play on the match up on one comp when i couldnt get on match up i forgot FIFA had closed into a window, took my cd out of this comp while fifa was still on it and put my cd in the other comp.

When i say window i mean fifa screen goes to an icon on bottom of desk top while you connect to match up i was messing trying to get into match up for ages gave up left comp for a bit took the fifa cd out as i thought i would try the match up on the other comp it was only later when i went back to other comp i realised fifa was still on screen, and then i thought i would try a network game and it worked fine.

may not sound to clear how i have wrote or if you havent tried match up from in game.
