Hello all, how do i tweak league rules for leagues in FM2008 using data editor or other programs?

and increasing the amount of clubs in the a-league or MLS for that matter.

Unless someone's come up with something new in the last few years without me hearing about it there is no way of editing that stuff. It's hard coded in the game instead of stored in database files etc. Your best bet is to move the teams to a team in another league that has the rules you want... which in the A-League's place isn't all that optional.

I think Holland and Belgium don't have any player restrictions. At least historically they have not.

In the game they don't, no. We're too difficult to properly copy into the rules set.

the rule i want to change is the ability to buy players that are in the league.
