This PL had the closest title fight out of the 4 I have been controlling this year going into the Final Matchday. fender and rpgp were seperated by 6 points, with 15 up for grabs. fender predicted 1-0 to Manchetser United, which meant he didn't score anything. rpgp was right that Chelsea would only score one goal, but he thought United would score 2 and so also gets no points, giving the title to fender!! Congrats. :)

rpgp wasn't challenged for 2nd place with Anthony also failing to score any points, and so rpgp picks up his 3rd trophy of the day. :eek: With Anthony failing to score any points, it left nor-rbk and Football Addict with a chance to snatch 3rd place away. Football Addict was the 4th predictor to fail to score, but nor-rbk got his prediction perfect and scored the full 15 points to take 3rd place!

Kimikal and bybuti also managed to get the maximum 15 points. ;)

I'm surprised I still had trophy chances after my few months of absence! :eek: The x2, x3, x4 & x5 is definitely something which we should keep, it gives the competition even more excitement towards the end of the season. Compliments for that go to steauA (Y) as I believe he was the one who introduced that, right?

If everyone's okay with it, I'll make Scimitar's SG life a little easier again by taking over this PL next season. Nice trophies man! :D

BTW - At which point do YOU (player in the SG Prediction Leagues :D) think we should start the Champions League PL. 1st QR, 2nd QR? 3rd? Opinions are welcome. :)

I would prefer to start with Q3. ;)

I prefer the Q3 as well. Even though it's great fun predicting those small clubs. But I think that we would attract more predictors from the beginning if we start in Q3.

That's indeed what the thing was in last season's edition. There were around 10 people in QR1, 15 in QR2 and more as the tournament went into QR3. So to give everyone the same chances of winning the PL, I also think we should start in Qualifying Round 3. Notified. :) ;)
