What are people's experience of playing multiplayer FIFA2001? I have only
had it working properly on a couple of occasions. And, since the last
software update (which auto-installed when I connected to the matchup
service), it hasn't worked properly at all.

What usually happens is: After I have started/joined a game through Matchup,
I get the "Connecting" screen and then nothing happens after that. Sometimes
I do get as far as the red progress bar and then into the game, but it will
normally freeze within the first few seconds. Then it's almost impossible
to get out of the game as the keyboard/mouse don't respond. If I do manage
to get back out of FIFA, instead of returning to Windows I usually get a
black screen.

The game works fine in single player mode. I am using a 56k modem and a
Vodoo Banshee graphics card. Computer is P2 350Mhz. Has anyone had similar
problems?
