I am a newbie at console soccer/football games and am still having problems scoring when I do corner kicks and crosses. I have the PS3 version of Euro 2008.

When you do a corner kick, do you just tap the square key for power and thats it? Can you actually direct it to a certain spot on the field.

Also, every time I try to run down the side and do a cross, none of my teammates are in the box waiting for the kick. What am I missing?

Sorry if the lingo is incorrect as I am new to soccer/football.
