RED = Danger, don't pass
GREEN = Ok to pass
YELLOW = Maybe can pass, maybe cannot

iceboy is corerect, they are meant to mean what he said, but whatever you do dont pass only when the arrow is green, coz more often than not, when the arrow is yellow or red a pass can still be made
