Greetings.
After months of waiting, I purchased my FIFA2001 for the PC the day it came out and after a week of playing, I noticed few things that aren't right. 1)About 6 weeks ago, EA released a list of the National Teams to be included in this year's versin. Well, I noticed that MANY of them are no where to be found in the game (i.e.Iran, Bulgaria, Morocco, Ghana, Tunisia, Uruguay, Nigeria). WHERE are those teams? 2)While playing teams like Kuwait or the Czech Republic, you only see flags with their colors waving in the stands while other teams (like UAE and Egypt) have their actuall country flag. 3)I was under the impressin that there will be at least 12 stadiums included (just from looking at the screenshots). The game only offers you 5 now. 4)With weather, the only settings you have are Fair, Rain, and Random. 5) Camera angles are terrible and replays are even worst. Why is it that the reply shows the goal scorer and not the goal being scored? 6)I think that jersey selctions are very limited. We need more options. 7)Its great that the roster is no longer 18 players only. But who came up with 21? Its either 20 or 22. There is no such thing as 21. 8)The darn thing crashes on me like crazy and I know that it is NOT my system. The game just freezes while playing it.
I'm sure that there are many other glitches but those are the more obvious ones for now. I'm thinking that EA messed up and sent us un in-complete version rather than the final one because it is obvious that there are a lot of things missing. On another note, I liked some features in EURO2000 that I wish EA included in FIFA2001 (the expanded roster, the game highlights-where you get to see highlights of the game when its over like goals and cards).
