What makes it even more hilarious is that Kaunas are effectively Hearts 'B'.

13 eastern european teams (not counting turkey and greece) in the 3rd qualifying round (Y) after the rest of the matches played out today. it's a shame that Shakhtar and Dinamo Zagreb, Levski and BATE, Spartak Moskow and Dynamo Kyiv will be playing eachother though.

However that means that with CFR Cluj and Zenit already in the groups, Eastern Europe will have at least 5 representatives out of the 32. Let's hope these other draws go their way:

Aalborg vs. Kaunas
Barcelona vs. Wisla
Partizan vs. Fener
Juventus vs. Artmedia
Fiorentina vs. Slavia Prague
Galatasaray vs. Steaua
Panathinaikos vs. Sparta Prague

I'm thinking at least 3 will qualify in the groupstage.

And you know what's weird? Jose Couceiro sucks, really. 2 years ago he couldn't put a talented U20 Portugal Squad playing...ok, at least. And now he comes to Lithuania (is it?), and defeats Rangers.

Kaunas will not have a chance against the Danish champion. Aalborg will beat them. But they did beat Rangers. I would never dreamed of that with Vålerenga.
