Has anyone had any joy playing over the internet with 2 modems (both 56k).

I find it very sloooooow and unplayable even with all details turned down.

Any tips, ideas etc?
(and don't say get a faster connection cos i can't)

I have the same problem... The only way I have found to make it better is to try to match up with someone close to me (geographically)... In the North America Region there are a lot of people playing who are in Korea or other places... Try to find people near you and play them There is a HUGE difference

I have a 56k and played fifa2001 with people from Italy and Germany by Direct IP and I live in england.

The speed was ok

HNAFC... is it as smooth as a single player game? (or close)

I also live in England, as does my opponent, so distance doesn't seem to be a problem.
