Just a few questions, if anyone would care to answer...
1. Do teams ever get more money? Like, in season play, if I win the league and/or cup, does my team get more money to buy new players for?
2. Is it possible to direct a header downwards? If so, precisely how? And have you tried it and seen it work?
3. Do player stats change over time?
4. Do player prices change over time?
5. Is it possible to miss (i.e. not even hit the goal) with a penalty? No matter how hard I intentionally try to miss, the ball always goes inside the frame.
FIFA2001 is a decent gaming experience and probably (although it's a shame to say) the best soccer game currently on the PC platform. I feel inclined to comment on all the things that suck i FIFA 2001, but then I could just go on and on. Just think of what this game *could* be if it was in the hands of another (more visionary) game developer than EA. It's a crying shame. Looking at the development of FIFA from its earliest version to where we are now, I have to say that EA has the most absurd game development philosophy I have ever seen. But it's obviously futile to reason with these people. I hope some other game developer would dig up the resources to go in and compete seriously with EA. True soccer fans would support it and ensure the success of such an effort.
